Annual Conference

Presides and implements over communications tools and resources for the internal and external structure of MWPHA. Professional Development
Committee Chair Vacant
Develops joint efforts and supports the activities of members. Organizes and coordinates the continuing education efforts. Organizes speakers’ series along with MPHTC. Coordinates activities with the APHA Student Caucus, the Public Health Nursing section of APHA and National Capitol Area SOPHE to provide networking and program activities. Finance

Health Disparities & HIV/AIDS

Addresses the impact of tobacco related issues on health including policy initiatives. The committee also works with Campus for Clean Air to make campus a tobacco-free environment for the comfort and safety of all staff, students, and visitors to the campus.
